Climate change is undeniably affecting the life and natural resources around the world, mostly in the developing countries. Since the effect of climate change on the rain-fed agriculture is enormous, there emerged various solutions to adapt to changing climate and mitigate the effects. However, the solutions to deal with the climate crisis are mostly based on the market mechanisms where the industrialized states by funding carbon reducing projects in developing countries get the license to do business as usual.
