Working for a Fair Society

The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung is one of the six major political foundations in the Federal Republic of Germany, tasked primarily with conducting political education for progressive social development at home and abroad. The Stiftung is part of the grassroots movement of democratic socialism and is closely linked to the German Left Party, Die Linke.

International Dialogue

We encourage dialogue between left-wing actors such as scholars, policymakers, and activists. Thereby, we provide platforms for exchange to foster democratic rights and progressive knowledge. In collaboration with our partners, it is our goal to work on collective solutions for global challenges.

Social-Ecological Transformation

South Asia is already witnessing the detrimental effects of climate change. In our work, we promote democratic and just ways to tackle and mitigate them. Together with our partners, we not only boost concepts such as agro-ecology and food sovereignty but also support research initiatives on displacement caused by climate change.

Social Justice

Social Justice and solidarity are key principles guiding our work. We strive to address social inequalities through research, advocacy, and promoting social rights. Our approach is intersectional, considering gender, caste, class, and ethnic-driven discrimination. We are committed to creating inclusive spaces that foster reflection and collective action against inequalities.
